ASSISTANT PURCHASING AGENT

Lucinda Loya Interiors is pursuing the brightest and most talented minds to be part of our growing firm. LLI is seeking an Assistant Purchasing Agent to grow Lucinda Loya Interiors, decreasing client wait-time and furthering along our proposal process. Work alongside our Procurement Manager to ensure the business runs smoothly and orderly. We are on the hunt for eager individuals to be part of our dynamic organization with:

 

BILLING SUPPORT

  • Generate proposals for client submittal and approval

  • Maintain records of client payments received for accounting purposes

  • Maintain records of vendor payments paid out for accounting purposes

  • Maintain communication + records with accountant as needed

  • Careful cost tracking for accurate billing


PURCHASING SUPPORT

  • Process trade application paperwork

  • Process vendor Purchase Orders + payment

  • Request for quotes from vendors

  • Place fabric on reserve for Design Team


STATUS + TRACKING SUPPORT

  • Request + record order tracking

  • Maintain Order Status Sheet + report regularly to the Design Team


WAREHOUSING SUPPORT

  • Coordinate local workroom pickups

  • Coordinate damage claims, repairs + replacements as needed

  • Provide delivery + installation paperwork to warehouse


ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT

  • Answer incoming phone calls

  • Maintain office supply inventory

  • Maintain kitchen supply inventory

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3 - 5 years of development, preferably from a design specific firm.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Accounting, or any related field.

  • Great ability to multitask, work independently as well as a team, positive, fearless and ambitious.

  • Must be GREAT at follow through!
