Located in the Memorial neighborhood of Houston, Texas, this dramatic two-story luxury home bar transforms an entertaining space into a destination inspired by the glamour and atmosphere of the Turkish Riviera. Designed during the pandemic as a place for connection and celebration, the space was conceived with gathering, hospitality, and social entertaining at its core.

The design is defined by a bold, deep color palette that creates an intimate and immersive atmosphere. Rich tones envelop the room, establishing a sophisticated backdrop for layered materials, custom furnishings, and architectural details that give the bar its distinctive personality.

Overhead, a striking custom ceiling installation features cloudy mirrored panels paired with sculptural lighting from Oly Studio, arranged in patterns reminiscent of drifting smoke rings. This reflective treatment introduces an ethereal, dreamlike quality that amplifies light while reinforcing the space’s sense of escape and indulgence.

Throughout the space, tailored seating and upholstery incorporate luxurious textiles from Kravet, Lee Jofa, George Cameron Nash, Pindler, and Scalamandré, adding depth, texture, and visual richness. Underfoot, a custom Lucinda Loya Interiors rug anchors the main gathering area, complemented by additional rugs from Safavieh that soften the dramatic palette.

The bar itself features refined fixtures and hardware sourced through Build with Ferguson, while surrounding furnishings from Cantoni and The Tailored Home create sophisticated lounge-style seating areas across both levels of the space.
