At Thompson Houston, Lucinda Loya Interiors shaped a rooftop hospitality destination overlooking the city. The design brings together a custom infinity pool, shaded cabanas, dining and lounge areas in a bold, midcentury-informed setting. Created for hotel guests and local visitors alike, the rooftop feels social, distinctive and unmistakably connected to Houston.
Set across nearly one acre, the rooftop was planned to move easily from sunlit afternoons to evening gatherings. Flexible seating, sculptural furnishings, graphic pattern and layered planting define distinct zones without interrupting the flow of the space. The result balances the energy of a destination hotel with the practical demands of commercial interior design, supporting dining, lounging and social use throughout the day and into the evening.

Bold chartreuse yellow seating, graphic cabanas and a custom-tiled infinity pool give the Thompson Houston rooftop its identity. Framed by the skyline, the pool deck feels vibrant, relaxed and made for lingering.
